To begin the process, press and hold the wifi button on the printer for 3 seconds. You can also press and hold it until the wifi light starts to flash.
The Wifi light on the printer will continue to flash after the wireless connection is successful.
When the whole setup process is complete, both the light i.e. on the Printer and the router will be illuminated.
Next Step is to get the network status Ip address and connecting it to the computer
Load papers.
Hold down the button on the printer’s control panel for at least 7 seconds.
The network status sheet is printed.
3. Go to your computer then go to start and then type in “control panel” without double quote.
Then select Hardware and Sound
Then Select Devices and Printers -> then click on Printers and scanners.
Click Add Printer
Next Press add Manually and a dialog will popup
Next select Add a Printer using an IP address or hostname.
Next time in the IP Address that is indicated on the network status sheet. I just put an example above.
Select Generic Network Card and click on next.
Next is you have to select the Brand/Manufacturer of your printer, And select the name of the printer that u have . And after its all set press next.
Select the first option, then proceed by clicking next.
Click on next and the printer will now be available for printing. To make sure its working try doing a print test by going to printer’s properties.
